Project Description

In partnership with ENGIE Energy Access, we supplied a 90 kW / 130 kWh SUSTAIN COMPACT™ containerised solar + battery energy system to electrify the village of Dohoue in Zogbodomey, Benin. This project marks ENGIE’s first operational mini-grid in the country, with more than 20 sites in the pipeline to expand rural electrification across the region.

Dohoue is a thriving community of over 1,500 residents, now connected to dependable and sustainable power. The system featuring equipment from Victron, BYD, and SUNGROW was sized to support 250 household and business connections, unlocking new opportunities for commerce, education, and especially women-led economic participation.

This installation is part of our broader mission: to provide modular, pre-installed solar and battery systems that reduce project risk, cut deployment timelines, and enable clean energy access in underserved areas across Africa.
